Mahale Mountains National Park is one of Tanzania’s most remote and extraordinary destinations, situated on the eastern shores of Lake Tanganyika — the world’s longest and second deepest freshwater lake. Its combination of forest, mountains, and lake makes it truly unlike anywhere else in Africa.

Wildlife:Mahale is most famous for its habituated chimpanzee communities, offering some of the finest chimp trekking experiences in the world.
