When to travel
Tanzania is a year-round destination. The dry season offers classic safari conditions, easier wildlife viewing but busier parks, while the wet season offers lush scenery, and a more intimate safari experience. The best time is simply the one that suits you.
The Great Migration
The Great Migration is a year-round spectacle. Witness the drama of calving season on the southern Serengeti plains from January to March, the famous Grumeti River crossing in western Serengeti in June and July, or the iconic Mara River crossings in northern Serengeti from August to October. Tell us when you want to travel and we’ll make sure you are in the right place at the right time.
Private Safaris
Every safari to the Northern Circuit is entirely private — your own vehicle, your own driver-guide, your own pace. Larger groups simply travel in multiple vehicles, ensuring the experience remains exclusively yours. Safaris to the south, west and east of Tanzania operate on a game drive package, as shared safaris with up to 6 people (with private safari available as an option at some lodges).
By Road or By Air
